"You have to be kidding!" is usually the first reaction, followed by phrases that range from, "I always knew you were strange," followed by a shaking of their head, all the way to the expected, "pervert."  Well, while I care somewhat what others think, there are certain things where I have the attitude that, "it just doesn't matter." (Bill Murray - from the movie Meatballs)  When someone disapproves of one aspect or another about the way I am, (not necessarily on being a nudist) a few thoughts cross my mind.  Do I care what that person thinks? - Sometimes yes, sometimes no, depending on my relationship with the person.  Does the person really know me? I guess that depends on how much I have let them know about me.  If I want them to know me better, I may try and explain about that aspect of my personality.  If not, I consider it their loss and let it go.  Lastly, are they educated enough about the behavior to make a qualified judgment?  Again, if I want them to know me better, I try and educate them by explaining why I feel the way I do about something or react the way I do to a certain situation.  Hence, the purpose of this website.

If you continue, you may have a preconceived notion (otherwise known as a prejudiced opinion) about what you are going to read or see.  In order for you not to be disappointed, I'll prepare you a little.  First off, there is lots of writing.  I originally started the site off with why I feel the way I do about being a nudist.  Since then, I have added things like definitions of nudism, naturism, and exhibitionism, what The Bible says about being naked, an article about the psychology of the body, some quotes from famous people, the results of a research study by a woman about naturism, and links to some nudist and naturist sites and resorts. I have received permission to link to a few quality personal sites where their owners have also shared their personal experiences.  There are not any pornographic images although, you may see people having fun and enjoying life without being clothed.  There are also graphics I made and collected from various websites to decorate nudist flyers, newsletters, signs, and websites.  I have given credit to things I have borrowed for other sources, either to the source or the author.  If you see anything not credited that should be, please let me know who to contact.  I will either obtain permission or delete it.  This site is continually under revision.  I try and add new things on a regular basis.  Once you have visited, keep checking back for updates.
